What does therapy focusing on Asian mental health mean? This may entail addressing the unique mental health challenges and cultural factors that impact individuals from Asian communities. This can include understanding the influence of cultural values such as family expectations and collectivism. This may address stigma surrounding mental health. This includes providing culturally sensitive care by integrating therapeutic approaches. The goal is to create a safe space where clients can discuss their struggles without judgment, acknowledging the specific cultural and social factors that shape their mental health experiences.
